Hip Hip Hurray

Prakash Jha who is directing the film Rajniti with Katrina, Ajay Devgan, Ranbir Kapoor and Arjun Rampal is very famous with his documentaries in the1980's. He started making commercial movies with Hip Hip Hurray. This is a sports based movie. Director took football as the main concept and added touching scenes to it.


Sandeep (Raj Kiran) is an electronics engineer attends for an interview in Mumbai. Selectors asks him to wait for a few days for result. In that vacation he joins in a school as a physical trainer on his uncle's suggestion where he observes undisciplined boys.

The school football team always loses the matches with the neighboring school. Sandeep challenges with another school physical trainer (Shafi Ahmed). No one in the school supports him except his colleague (Deepti Naval). He receives an offer letter from the computer firm but he sticks with the team. He wins his challenge by changing the student's attitude.

Director passed the message "We must give priority for sports also with education" with this film. Director got good performance from every actor. After this movie only Jha got an identity in Bollywood.
